National Defence - Engineering Services

"Two weeks after our engineering department moved into our brand new office facility, staff began to complain of eyestrain, headaches and an overall uncomfortable workplace, as a result of excess glare from their lighting system. The Design & Build project included recessed 3-lamp deep cell parabolic fixtures, as it should for the tasks being performed. Unfortunately, the quality of the less expensive louver supplied was very poor. Due to past experiences with Bob Clarke's vision on lighting issues, we consulted him in regards to our current challenges. He recommended installing new louvers with superior light control properties, and provided us with samples in order to experience the improvement. Needless to say, the results were like night and day. We spent the extra money to provide a proper work environment for our staff, but know that we will end up saving money as a result of improved quality control and productivity.
